Humberto Carrillo appears to be getting a name change.

Over the weekend, WWE.com updated Humberto’s profile to simply refer to him as “Berto.”

Berto’s profile now reads as follows:

“High-flying sensation Berto strikes like a bolt of lightning — the exact moment of impact is often too quick to see, but the devastation left in its wake is impossible to ignore.

A scion of lucha libre’s famed Garza family dynasty, Berto has been around wrestling rings his entire life. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, father and uncles, Berto began competing in his native Mexico while still a teenager. With an awe-inspiring collection of aerial attacks to his name, the speedster soon found success at home and abroad, most notably on tours in Japan, before being recruited into the WWE Performance Center in 2018.

Berto made an indelible impression on the WWE Universe after joining the rosters of NXT and 205 Live. On Raw, Berto made an immediate impact by mixing it up with the likes of Seth Rollins and AJ Styles. And after Berto formed a partnership with his cousin Angel, the tandem was chosen by Raw in the 2023 WWE Draft.

Boasting cat-like agility and the surefootedness of a tightrope artist, Humberto has carved out one highlight-reel moment after another. Still in his mid-20s, Berto will be a Superstar to watch for years to come.”

As we previously reported here on eWn, Mick Foley recently revealed that he’s interested in having one last “Deathmatch” before his 60th birthday. The WWE Hall of Famer picked Matt Cardona or Jon Moxley as his possible opponents.

Taking to Twitter, Cardona announced that he’d be down for the match. He wrote,

“If Mick Foley is really having one last match…and it’s a deathmatch…there is only person who should be his opponent…ME! THE DEATHMATCH KING!”
