IYO SKY performed a wild spot at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 involving a moonsault assisted by a trash can, and she shared her thoughts on the breathtaking move.
The maneuver featured the Damage CTRL member placing a trash can over herself from the top of the cage and simultaneously performing a moonsault onto her opponents as Tiffany Stratton executed a Swanton from the top in the opposite ring onto SKY’s partners.
During the post-show press conference, SKY was asked what was going through her mind just before she performed the move.
She said, “It’s completely (covered) in the trash can. It’s so dark. I can’t see anything. I just jump off. That’s it. That simple. I trust the trash can.”
Rhea Ripley, SKY, Bayley, Naomi, and Bianca Belair emerged victorious against Liv Morgan, Stratton, Nia Jax, Candice LeRae, and Raquel Rodriguez in the women’s WarGames match that kicked off Saturday’s pay-per-view event.
Sami Zayn believes that his connection with The Bloodline has become as significant to his legacy as his association with Kevin Owens.
Zayn joined forces with the original members of The Bloodline and CM Punk to overcome the New Bloodline and Bronson Reed at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.
During the post-show media scrum, Zayn discussed how this storyline has evolved into one that can be revisited in the future.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On The Bloodline’s imprint on his legacy: “I think the Bloodline thing, because of the length of time, for how long it’s gone on now, and the level of fan investment over the last few years, I feel like the closest thing I can compare to is like my story with Kevin Owens, for example, wherein it’s sort of a story that’s always going to be there. Even if we all sort of drift in different directions, it’s become this thing where you can always just float back to the mothership, you know, much like me and Kevin have been telling a story for over 20 years, and somehow we always find each other in our crosshairs.”
On the future of the storyline: “It’s definitely not the end.”
