On this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, during the Triple Threat match between Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green, and Blair Davenport to settle another quadrant of the Women’s United States Championship Tournament, footage was shown of a backstage area with Jade Cargill sprawled out on top of a car, having been attacked.

This was enough of a distraction that took Bianca Belair out of her match, opening up an opportunity for Chelsea Green to eventually pin Blair Davenport, advancing in the tournament. She will face Bayley in the next round to settle the left side of the bracket.

Cargill’s assailant has yet to be revealed, nor the motivation for the attack, as of this publication.
However, according to spoilers for next week’s episode, it appears Cargill will be replaced in the tournament by {Lash Legend} — hover over the text to see the spoiler — who will be inserted into the Triple Threat match against Michin and Piper Niven. This may indicate she was the one responsible for the attack, though it doesn’t necessarily guarantee that is the case.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Women’s United States Championship Tournament, the attack on Cargill, and anything else revolving around this story.
