Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson got involved in the tag-team match featuring Rey Mysterio & Andrade vs. Santos Escobar & Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 40.
Speaking on a recent episode of his “New Heights” podcast with his brother Travis, the former Philadelphia Eagles player revealed when he knew what he’d be doing at the Showcase of Immortals. He said,
“We [Lane Johnson and I] knew we were going to be involved with the masks, but we didn’t really find out the full extent until like two hours before the show. There was a backstage area where you figure things out… We knew we were on Rey’s team, which they didn’t have to tell us that. From there, it was operation get it done.”
As we previously reported here on eWn, Kelce trained at the CZW Dojo and Danny Cage’s Monster Factory to get ready for his WrestleMania 40 appearance.
