On a recent edition of his “My World” podcast, Jeff Jarrett gave a reason why Hulk Hogan may not have appeared at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He said,
“Hulk’s gotten very political And is that an NBC call and not an Endeavor call? I have no idea.”
Hogan did not appear at WWE’s first SNME show since 2008, and a video vignette highlighting the show’s past avoided showing the Hulkster.
The show instead featured Jesse Ventura on commentary, with legends in the crowd including Tito Santana, Koko B. Ware, and Jimmy Hart.
The same night as the show, Hogan walked Colby Covington to the cage at UFC: Tampa for his fight with Joaquin Buckley.
Like Hogan, Covington is a vocal supporter of Donald Trump and kissed a pendant of Trump’s head at the show. Covington lost the fight.
