WWE Hall of Famers Afa Anoaʻi and Sika Anoaʻi of The Wild Samoans passed away within two months of each other.

Sika died due to a prolonged illness on June 25 at the age of 79, while Afa passed away on August 16 from a heart attack at the age of 81.

During a recent appearance at Fanatics Fest NYC, Jey Uso reacted to the passing of his uncles.

Jey said, They’re the ones who set the table. If it wasn’t for them or ‘High Chief’ Peter Maivia, none of the family tree grows, you know what I’m saying? My family’s going through some hard times right now, man, but wrestling just gives us hope. I feel like my family is running WWE. Like we always have.”

The Wild Samoans held 20 tag team championships around the world before going their separate ways in 1991.
