Jey Uso never envisioned that he’d one day not be teaming with his brother Jimmy, but is pleased to see the latter thrive on SmackDown.
After over a decade as a tag team on WWE TV, The Usos came to an end last year after Jimmy betrayed Jey during his main event match with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam.
In a recent interview with TNT Sports, Jey reflected on splitting with Jimmy and how pleased he is to see the success Jimmy is seeing on SmackDown. He said,
“Never in a million years did I think we’d be split and handling both shows. And they have a lot of segments. When I’m on, I have a lot of segments. So I appreciate that. And yeah, I do miss them. I see them come out as a group; I automatically know. I see it in their faces; they’re having fun. Especially my brother, Jimmy, on that side. He’s having fun, and I’m happy for him. He’s breaking out of his shell now, Uce. If you can see that.”
While Jey is pleased for Jimmy, it is believed the duo will face off at WrestleMania 40. Jey recently said that he’d love for their father Rikishi to be involved in this potential feud
