Jey Uso is feeling confident in his pursuit of the WWE Intercontinental Championship after his victory on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
On the show, Uso defeated Karrion Kross and Kofi Kingston to advance in an ongoing tournament to decide Bron Breakker’s next challenger.
In a WWE RAW “Digital Exclusive,” Jey shared his confidence that the Intercontinental Title will soon be his. He said,
“I went there and I did what I said and said what I said and said what I did. I went out there and got the W. I told Bron [Breakker] what time it was. If he want to talk about family, that’s cool. Talk about watch my mouth, hey, Bron, my daddy been whooping your daddy’s ass since we were kids, okay.
“But check it out though, Uce. Ain’t gonna be no family. When it’s go time, it’s one-on-one. When it’s go time, it’s me and you, Uce. But when it’s go time, I’m gonna be the new Intercontinental Champion.”
Jey challenged GUNTHER for the gold earlier this year but his efforts to win his first singles title were thwarted by his brother Jimmy.
On RAW, Pete Dunne won a triple-threat match to advance. A fatal four-way match will decide the next challenger for Bron Breakker.
