Jey Uso – ‘Jimmy And I Let People Down At WrestleMania 40’

Jey Uso is pleased that he competed against his brother Jimmy at WWE WrestleMania 40, but believes their match left a lot to be desired.

In the third WrestleMania encounter between legitimate brothers, Jey defeated Jimmy as part of their feud that had been building since SummerSlam 2023.

The match has received negative reviews from fans with many taking issue with the constant use of superkicks and believe the match went longer than needed.

On a recent edition of the “Gorilla Position” podcast, Jey spoke about the match. He said,

“I do kind of feel like we did let the people down …  I wanted to go out there and have a straight-up banger too. I wanted to do the wrestling part, let alone make sure the emotion part was there.

“You’ve just got to play your position on the team. That’s what happened. But I am still happy that I got a singles match on WrestleMania with my brother, that’s the big picture. So I will always have me and him in the face-off at WrestleMania. I’m gonna frame a picture, it’s marked off our box.”

During the second night of the show, the brothers collided again with Jey attacking Jimmy after the latter tried to interfere on behalf of Roman Reigns.
