Fresh faces are popping up all the time lately in WWE NXT, with Tuesday night’s episode bringing back a favorite from TNA Wrestling and name-dropping two upcoming additions to the roster.
Joe Hendry continued to take over the Capitol Wrestling Center, first joining the commentary team when Vic Joseph had said his name (so he appeared, naturally) during the opening six-man tag team match that saw The Rascalz defeat Gallus.

Continuing their dislike of Joe Hendry, Gallus later complained about him backstage. Once Joe Coffey spoke his name, of course, Hendry popped back up again.
Gallus badmouthed him, saying nobody likes him and that when people think of Scotland in pro wrestling, they think of Gallus and Drew McIntyre, not “some flash in the pan.”
Hendry touted himself as the most talked about Superstar in all of WWE NXT, though, and expressed that he likes it in NXT and that he’s “sticking around.”

As far as the women’s division is concerned, though, Tuesday night wasn’t about anyone from TNA Wrestling, but two new signings that have yet to debut on-screen.
Roxanne Perez, when cutting a promo about her win over Lola Vice and her domination over the women’s division, brought up Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. She said,
“You know what really, really pisses me off? It’s the fact that all the talk online is ‘When Giulia comes to NXT, Roxanne’s in trouble! When Stephanie Vaquer comes, she’s gonna run through the NXT women’s division.’ Well you know what? Why don’t you go ahead and roll out a red carpet for them? As a matter of fact, roll out the red carpet for any talent around the world. Because when they step inside the ring with me, no one compares to The Prodigy.”
Roxanne Perez’s next challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship will be Thea Hail on one of the upcoming editions of the two-week NXT Great American Bash specials.
