Missed out on WWE NXT this week (live coverage here)? Looking for some of the miscellaneous headlines that can all be grouped together and save you some effort in reading that longer post? We’ve got you covered.
Here are some other resources of noteworthy things not talked about on this quick hits post:
- Masha Slamovich appeared.
- Lineup of next week’s episode.
- WWE LFG matches were taped before NXT.
- Roxanne Perez alluded to leaving NXT, while Bayley declared herself for the Royal Rumble match.
- Corey Graves was spotted leaving Orlando, but wasn’t on NXT in any means.
- Shotzi is the new #1 contender for the NXT Women’s North American Championship, albeit with some controversy.
- Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson earned themselves a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Could they be forming a new faction with Charlotte Flair?
But on top of those talking points, here are some other snippets of interesting moments from this week’s episode that weren’t worthy of their own posts, but still shouldn’t get lost in the shuffle of the full live coverage report.
WWE Tag Team Champions #DIY were present for the NXT tag team title match where Axiom and Nathan Frazer retained over OTM. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa were there to scope out their future competition, as they know that they’re going to some day get in the ring with Fraxiom. Nothing transpired during the match with Gargano and Ciampa, though, as they had promised they wouldn’t cause any shenanigans.
Well look who it is… 👀

Important to note that Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura were hoping to be the next in line for a tag title opportunity, but it seems they might have to go through OTM first after getting in a fight with them backstage prior to the tag title bout.
Karmen Petrovic and Ashante “Thee” Adonis had their first on-screen kiss and are now an official couple as this storyline has progressed to the point that they’re done playing games:
