Kayla Braxton (Kayla Becker), who has been with WWE since 2016, announced her departure as a backstage interviewer nearly a week ago.
Kayla’s final WWE appearance will occur on tonight’s episode of SmackDown at Madison Square Garden in New York City. She reportedly turned down a contract extension with WWE.
Taking to Twitter, Kayla communicated to the WWE Universe that tonight’s appearance on SmackDown would be her final one, indicating her emotional state regarding the situation.
She wrote, ”For the final time … I’ll see you tonight on #SmackDown”
After initially working as an NXT ring announcer, Kayla transitioned to a backstage interviewer role on the main roster in May 2017.

The viewership and rating dropped for the final episode of the VICE docuseries “Who Killed WCW?“. The show brought in 124,000 viewers, down from last week’s 148,000. In the key 18-49 demographic, it had an 0.05, down from last week’s 0.06.
