The Rock returned to WWE for the premiere episode of RAW on Netflix on Monday and followed that up with a cameo on NXT on Tuesday night.
During a recent edition of his “Kliq This” podcast, Kevin Nash discussed The Rock’s potential appearance for WrestleMania 41.
On The Rock’s WrestleMania 41 opponent: “I think he’s one of those people that loves to work. You’re gonna work against Cody [Rhodes]. Cody’s not gonna hurt you.”
On outpricing himself for bookings: “F*** no [laughs]. It’s like when people say, ‘Hey, do you still do anything appearance-wise?’ I’m like, ‘What do you got in mind?’ ‘I was thinking maybe commissioner.’ No. I could be commissioner on a zoom call [laughs]. I won’t go someplace and get in the ring and cut a promo. Indie shows can’t afford me. I make sure of it [laughs]. ’No, you misunderstood me, I said $50,000.’ ‘We can do that.’ ‘No, 50 plus…’”
On a potential match with Cody Rhodes: “I think, not right now because I’m beat to s*it, but if I was two years younger and I was healthy, I know that Cody [Rhodes] could drag my a*s through there, and I’m coming home in one piece. No [I’d never do it].”
