During a recent appearance on the “No Name Wrestling” podcast, Layla discussed the possibility of returning to WWE to team up with Michelle McCool and mentioned which Superstar she would be interested in facing.

Layla departed from WWE in 2015, citing concerns about the travel schedule.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On a possible return to WWE: “Yeah, now there is. Before, absolutely 100% no, I was not open to anything, I wanted a break, I wanted to get away. But now? Absolutely. Before I get too old and I can’t come back and do anything, yeah, one more time. I would honestly come back to do a Lay-Cool reunion. If that is possible and that is something that could happen, why not? It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. We had a lot of fans when we were together. I would love to reunite with my best friend just one more time.”

On talent she’d like to work with: “I’d say, I love watching Chelsea Green and Piper. I love their work, they’re great, I think that would be — I think that could work. I think that we could probably have a small run with them, something. Also, is it Stratton? I think she’s gonna be a huge star. I really do. Her look, her gear, but her in-ring skill is — I watched her in the [Elimination Chamber] and I was like, whoa. She killed it. I feel like she stole that match, she was the star. Jade would be amazing too, Jade’s gonna be a huge star.”

During a recent appearance on the “WrestleRant” podcast, Raquel Rodriguez stated that she is currently enjoying the best moment of her career with Liv Morgan.

Raquel made her return to WWE TV at Bad Blood 2024. She said,

Honestly, I feel like it’s just second nature. It’s like my second nature to just be that girl. It’s funny because my sister and I, we used to joke that when we played basketball, we’re two years apart, so we played high school basketball together, we did a lot of sports and things together, and she was always the pot-stirrer. She has a big mouth, she likes to run her little mouth, so she would always get trouble that would find her, and it was just my natural instinct to go and help her out and step in the way and stop the fight if I need to or finish the fight if I need to. So it’s just a role that I feel like I was naturally born into. So being able to do that again with Liv, it just feels good, it feels natural, and it’s been fun. Honestly, I can’t say that I’ve had a more fun time on main roster than I have these past couple months with Liv, these past couple weeks with her. It’s just been really, really great, and I just don’t want it to end.”
