This coming Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT (September 3, 2024) now has a few matches scheduled for it that were announced by Ava during WWE NXT No Mercy 2024.
After saying she still didn’t have a medical update on Andre Chase following Ridge Holland’s heel turn and attack on Chase U earlier in the night following their loss of the NXT Tag Team Titles, Ava did address the numerous challenges already put out for who would be the next in line for a title shot.
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger put their names in the hat with a quick video promo, followed by a tweet from Wolfgang asking for Gallus to be considered, and finally, Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz suggesting Axiom and Nathan Frazer had beaten MSK, but not The Rascalz.
Ava’s response was to book a Triple Threat No. 1 Contender’s match to determine who would challenge The Supersonic Duo next for the NXT Tag Team Championship.

Oro Mensah vs. Lexis King was also confirmed, as well as the previously established Pete Dunne vs. Trick Williams match that had been mentioned on this past Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT.
Another note for a future episode beyond that, though, was mentioned. On The CW Network premiere edition of WWE NXT, the winner of tonight’s NXT Championship match between Ethan Page and Joe Hendry will defend the NXT title. Page wound up winning that match.
That puts next week’s lineup currently at the following:
- Triple Threat Tag Team No. 1 Contender’s Match: Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) vs. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger vs. The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz)
- Pete Dunne vs. Trick Williams
- Oro Mensah vs. Lexis King
