Fans may not have seen the last of Lita in the ring, though the WWE Hall of Famer would be happy if she’s already wrestled her final match.
During a recent interview with “Inside The Ropes,” Lita was asked about possibly stepping back in the ring. She said,
“I feel really happy and really at peace with what I’ve done. If I never step foot in the ring again, I’m good with that. But at the same time, my body feels really good. They’re doing such awesome stuff with the women now.”
Lita’s most recent match for WWE was at WrestleMania 39 where she teamed with Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch to defeat Damage CTRL.
Though she was supposed to wrestle on RAW in April 2023, she was attacked by Trish Stratus before her match, in something of an odd send-off. She said,
“Things left a little strange… I was the tag champ, and then the next thing I know, I was on the ground. So, I think there’s definitely something there. But is it okay if it’s left the way it is? You know, like at the end of a horror movie where you think you’ve killed the monster, and then it comes back up at the end? It’s okay if it’s left like that. I feel okay with it, but I think there’s still something there.”
