A future WWE pay-per-view event could take place in Ireland if Monday Night RAW Superstar Lyra Valkyria has anything to say about things.
Speaking with MuscleManMalcolm, Valkyrie addressed WWE hosting pay-per-views outside of the United States and hopes for Ireland to be next. She said,
“I would absolutely love it. I would love to be the one to bring it to Ireland. We’ve got such an incredible fan base over there… To be able to have it in Ireland would be incredible.”
Ireland has yet to host a WWE pay-per-view, but got close in 2020. NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin was set to take place, but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since 2022, WWE has embraced going overseas for its pay-per-view events with Europe benefitting the most from this new company stance.
WWE’s next international PLE will come this weekend when the Superstars compete at the first-ever Bash In Berlin, which will receive full coverage here on eWrestlingNews.com.
By the end of this year, WWE will have hosted 8 main roster pay-per-view events outside of the U.S. compared to just 4 remaining in the States.
