Mandy Rose disagrees with the claim that Stephanie Vaquer is the first double women’s champion in WWE NXT.
Vaquer currently holds both the NXT Women’s Championship and NXT Women’s North American Championship after defeating Giulia at NXT: Roadblock, with WWE labeling her as the first double champion. However, Rose retweeted a post on Twitter highlighting photos of herself holding both the NXT Women’s Championship and the NXT UK Women’s Championship, implying that she holds that distinction instead. She captioned her retweet with the following,
“Haha yea it’s pretty pathetic isn’t it!! Thanks for the recognition tho! Appreciate you!!”
For what it’s worth, Rose was not a double champion. She won a match that unified the NXT Women’s and NXT UK Women’s Champion into one title and so she was never recognized as the holder of two titles simultaneously.
