Mark Henry is pleased to see WWE invest heavily in Bronson Reed as he feels the promotion is in need of a big vs. small program right now.
On last week’s episode of WWE RAW, Reed decimated Seth Rollins with six of his Tsunami finishers in the biggest showcase for Reed since coming to the main roster.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Henry spoke of WWE’s efforts with the former NXT North American Champion. He said,
“I thought Bronson Reed reached that level where now people expect him to do more. The company is investing in a very big spot for him. When Seth comes back, they’re gonna be rolling. It’s never gonna stop.
“You need to do it tactfully and skillfully and trick him into being where you want him to be, and that’s gonna be the entertainment. We need that because we don’t have a big guy-small guy match in the world of WWE wrestling right now.”
On this week’s edition of WWE RAW, Reed defeated The Miz and laid out R-Truth with his Tsunami. Henry appeared at RAW with his son Jacob in the Hall of Famer’s first WWE show since 2021.
