Montez Ford is hungry to be a champion in WWE again and would love for himself and Angelo Dawkins to reclaim the Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 40.
On a recent edition of “The MMA Hour” podcast, Ford was asked about what he’d like to do at the two-night show in April if he was the booker. He said,
“Myself, this year, 100% it would be myself [and] Angelo Dawkins versus — who’s currently the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions, Judgment Day. We haven’t been tag team champions in almost three years. Very, very long time and I think it’s time … it’s been more than time and it’s time.”
The Street Profits haven’t held championship gold in WWE since losing the SmackDown Tag Titles to Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode in January 2021.
As of late, the duo and Bobby Lashley have been feuding with The Final Testament (Karrion Kross and the Authors of Pain.)
