A new match has been added to the card for the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event coming up on February 1st as the WWE Tag Team Championships will be on the line with #DIY facing off against The Motor City Machine Guns in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match.

Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin won the right to challenge Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in an attempt to regain the titles #DIY had won from them by winning a series of matches against the rest of the tag team division as of late.
That puts the current lineup for the WWE Royal Rumble card at:
- 2-out-of-3 Falls Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship: #DIY (c) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns
- Ladder Match for the WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens
- Women’s Royal Rumble Match
- Men’s Royal Rumble Match
