WWE Superstar Natalya has no intentions of stepping away from the ring as the Canadian is doing some of the best work of her entire career.
Natalya joined WWE’s main roster in 2008 and is a former Divas Champion, SmackDown Women’s Champion, and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.
On a recent edition of the “Casual Conversations” podcast, Natalya discussed her future and shared her belief that her best work is happening right now. She said,
“I want to still keep moving forward in the business. People say, ‘When’re you gonna slow down? When are you gonna retire?’ I feel like I’m in the best shape of my life, I’m doing the best work of my career. I just have so much more I want to do.“
“There are so many more women in the industry that I want to work with. Not just in WWE, but I want to work with Gail Kim. I want to work with Jordynne Grace. I see some of these Japanese girls that I admire so much. Some of them come and train with me, but one day, I want to work with these girls. There are girls from every corner of the industry that I’m like, I want to work with her. I want to wrestle the best.”
In recent weeks, Natalya has been working with the young Superstars of WWE NXT, teaming with Karmen Petrovic and feuding primarily with Lola Vice. Her most recent match saw her victorious in a tag team match on the May 14 show.
