As we previously reported here on eWn, WWE has partnered with the Indiana Sports Corporation to bring its three major stadium events — WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and the Royal Rumble — to Indianapolis.
Lucas Oil Stadium will host the Royal Rumble on February 1, 2025, marking the beginning of this collaboration. In the future, the stadium will also host a two-night SummerSlam and two-night WrestleMania.
While the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania are held in the middle of the NBA season, SummerSlam takes place during the NBA offseason.
NBA athlete Tyrese Haliburton participated in the WWE Fastlane press conference last year. Earlier today, the Indiana Pacers star took to Twitter to acknowledge the collaboration between WWE and the Indiana Sports Corporation.
Haliburton wrote, “Just hear me out @NBA”
