The cold open for tonight’s episode of WWE RAW on Netflix has demonstrated that the era of Vince McMahon’s influence is truly finished for good.

The video features a Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque monologue on the nature of pro wrestling to clips of various wrestlers throughout the decades.

Notably, Levesque uses several terms previously banned by his father-in-law, including wrestling, shoot, face, and heel.

McMahon himself does not appear in the three-minute video, despite several key moments he was involved in, such as the Montreal Screwjob, being featured.

The only inclusion of McMahon is via a brief audio snippet from WrestleMania 12, where he quipped that Shawn Michaels’ boyhood dream had come true.

Tonight’s edition of WWE RAW will see several notable names in attendance, including Hulk Hogan, The Rock, and John Cena, who will kick off his farewell tour.

The show will also see Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa as well as CM Punk’s first match on a weekly WWE TV show when he takes on Seth Rollins.
