An NFL athlete is headed to WWE.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that NFL star George Kittle is expected to appear for WWE soon.
Kittle previously appeared on WWE programming during WrestleMania 39, helping Pat McAfee defeat The Miz.
Meltzer noted that the specific date of Kittle’s appearance remains unknown.
Meanwhile, Fightful is reporting that WWE submitted the trademark applications for “D-1,” “D1,” and “D-One” to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on January 19 under the entertainment services category.
