October 1 marks the debut of WWE NXT on The CW Network. Initially, it was thought that WWE did not have an exclusivity clause in its agreement with the network for NXT, something they have done in the past to prevent other wrestling promotions from airing on the same network.
Next week’s NWA Powerrr episode is set to feature the NWA 76 event from Philadelphia, with the main event being EC3 vs. Thom Latimer for the NWA Championship.
The premiere episode of WWE NXT will showcase NXT Champion Ethan Page defending against Trick Williams with CM Punk as the guest referee, NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez defending against Giulia, and a street fight between Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill will also appear, and The Miz will host Miz TV.
