Last May, WWE signed Tamyra Mensah-Stock, who made history at the Tokyo Olympics by becoming the Olympic champion at 68 kilograms. She was the first Black woman to win gold in freestyle wrestling.
She also won the 2022 world championship in Belgrade, Serbia, for her second world title. She started training on Monday at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Mensah-Stock made her in-ring debut at the NXT live event on March 30, defeating Breanna Covington.
