Omos is ready for whatever comes his way in WWE, despite his ongoing absence from the ring that has seen him miss the majority of 2024.
On a recent edition of the “Six Feet Under” podcast’s Q&A, Omos spoke about his evolution in WWE an how his role has changed. He said,
“I think it’s evolved a lot. I started off as AJ’s heater and then went on to do my own thing. Then I got a manager with MVP. He was kind of like my Bobby Heenan in that type of way.
I think now I’m ready to be on my own and stand as a performer by myself. I’ve learned so much from both of them. With AJ it was figuring out the basics as a performer, knowing how to be a giant.“Then MVP was like understanding how to have presents in the ring and just the little things differentiates — for example knowing how to sell in a way that doesn’t feel robotic. MVP pointed out to me like, ‘Hey, you want to make it feel more natural when you sell,’ just the little intangibles. I’m giving me the mic, he’ll cut his promo as a heel, and then he would give me the mic, like, ‘Finish it off.’”
Omos also addressed his future in WWE and how appearances at live events in 2023 have helped him be ready for what’s to come. He said,
“Getting the comfort of speaking out in front of the crowd. All the house shows that I did last year, I think that actually helped me a lot in my growth and I think going forward, I am ready for whatever is thrown at me.”
Omos hasn’t competed for WWE since April of this year when he part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal won by Bronson Reed.
Omos’ most recent win on WWE TV came in May of last year where he beat an enhancement talent.
