As we previously reported here on eWn, there are conflicting reports regarding Omos’ current status with WWE.
Omos signed with WWE in 2019 and became a big attraction over the next few years. His last televised match was the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown before WrestleMania 40 in April.
Prior to his absence from WWE television, Omos was regularly featured in WWE live events, which was reportedly WWE’s way of providing him with additional in-ring experience.
In response to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s report earlier today stating that WWE has given up on Omos, The Nigerian Giant took to Twitter to react. He wrote,
”Journalism has turned into National Inquirer 😂”
During his absence from WWE programming, Omos has shifted his focus to other ventures, such as launching a YouTube channel with his inaugural video featuring the “Top 10 Summer Fragrances 2024.”
