WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi will be stepping back in the ring with Otis soon enough if the Alpha Academy member has his way.
On this week’s episode of WWE NXT, Otis answered Femi’s open challenge but was unable to dethrone the dominant NXT North American Champion.
In a WWE NXT ‘Digital Exclusive’, Otis made clear that he’s not done with Femi. He said,
“Before my mother’s dying day six months ago, she would always supported me as a child, as a working person. She [had] three jobs, two kids. Every time she was working, it was for a purpose. She told me when you get up that hill, it’s a success, you get slapped every damn time. Every step, that slap gets harder and harder until you get that nice little smooch. That’s when it’s sweet. This ain’t the last of us, Big O.”
Ironically, Big O is a term already in use in WWE as Odyssey Jones was called Big O by Pat McAfee during this week’s episode of RAW.
Femi has laid out another open challenge for next week’s edition of WWE NXT. So far, nobody has confirmed that they will answer.
