On the latest episode of WWE RAW, Pat McAfee was assaulted by GUNTHER, irate over his World Heavyweight Title defeat at WrestleMania 41 (Night One).
On a recent edition of his “The Pat McAfee Show” podcast, McAfee shared an update on his condition and what happened after the attack. He said,
“GUNTHER smashed up and choked me out on Monday Night Raw, I went to a medical facility in Las Vegas. I thought maybe I was gonna have a C2, C3—something in the neck—because of how it felt, but I was deemed okay. But I certainly lost consciousness after what happened.”
McAfee also discussed GUNTHER laying his hands on Michael Cole and teasing something to come, warning that “you’re not going to get away with it.”
Jey Uso, the man who dethroned GUNTHER, was also on RAW. The new champion appeared mid-way through the show and did not wrestle.
