Paul Heyman will take his rightful spot in the WWE Hall of Fame later this year as the first confirmed member of the 2024 class of inductees.
The Associated Press broke the news of Heyman’s induction. In an interview, Heyman made clear that there is still plenty of work to be done for him in wrestling. He said,
“I consistently feel like I’m just getting started, and I’m just figuring this out. To me, what is an incomplete body of work, because there’s still things I want to accomplish, I never felt comfortable accepting that is a reflection upon an entire career.”
Heyman’s journey into the business began at the age of 13 when he would travel to WWF shows and take photos which he would sell after printing in his own home photo lab.
Paul Heyman would later join the NWA and WCW before finding his footing in ECW and would lead the company to its peak with its signature hardcore, counter-culture style.
Shortly before ECW’s demise, Heyman would join the WWF, now WWE. He currently serves as the special counsel to Roman Reigns and the Bloodline.
The 2024 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on April 5, from Philadelphia, PA, following the go-home episode of SmackDown before WrestleMania 40.
