On Friday, Cody Rhodes was seen wearing a neck brace at a public event after being assaulted by Kevin Owens during Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXVII.
Owens executed a package piledriver on Rhodes after failing to dethrone him at the December 14th event. Rhodes was stretchered out and reported to have sustained an “axial compression of the cervical spine, as well as a cervical strain with spasm.”
On December 20, Cody showed up at Brandi Rhodes’ Naked Mind Yoga & Pilates event in Atlanta, wearing a neck brace to sell Owens’ attack.
There is still no update on when The American Nightmare will return to WWE television.
