D-Von and Bubba Ray Dudley, better known as The Dudley Boyz, made their WWE return this week on NXT.
As one of the most successful tag teams in wrestling history, The Dudley Boyz have won titles in every promotion they’ve been a part of, such as WWE, TNA Wrestling, NJPW, ECW, and others.
After stepping away from in-ring competition, D-Von began working as a producer for WWE in 2016 and later became a trainer at NXT before leaving in 2023.
D-Von returned from retirement for a tag match alongside Ray, defeating Champagne Singh and Rohit Raju at TNA Impact 1000. His last match before this was at the IWC Superstar Showdown V event on April 27.
Bubba and NXT Champion Trick Williams triumphed over Ridge Holland and Ethan Page on this week’s episode of WWE NXT at the 2300 Arena.
Following the match, Bubba and Trick executed some classic Dudley Boyz maneuvers before D-Von emerged to retrieve a table for the babyfaces to perform the 3D on Page.
Fightful is reporting that D-Von did not get physical during his NXT cameo, as he is not cleared for any in-ring action.
Both D-Von and Ray are signed under WWE Legends contracts.
