On Thursday, June 27, Dijak announced that his WWE contract is ending today without any negotiations for renewal from the company.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Dijak was informed of this decision following his WWE Speed match with Xavier Woods, taped in the last two weeks.

It remains unclear when the decision not to renew his contract was made. In an interview with the outlet, Dijak expressed his belief that WWE had planned to let his contract expire for some time.

According to sources, Dijak was well-regarded and commended by company officials. It was mentioned that NXT’s Head of Creative, Shawn Michaels, strongly advocated for Dijak; however, minor disagreements regarding creative differences were reported in the past.

Dijak also stated that Michaels personally welcomed him back to the NXT brand, where he would commute for training as he resides in New Hampshire.

It remains unclear why Dijak was not featured regularly on the main roster despite being well-liked by talent.

According to Dijak, he felt a shift in circumstances when he was not included in the plans for WWE RAW shortly after transitioning to the main roster.

Dijak was notably absent from RAW events for extended periods, and his involvement was often limited to Main Event and Speed tapings, with no set plans for his appearance on Raw. There were no established creative plans for him upon his call-up to RAW.

According to a source, preliminary negotiations were reportedly positive before the commencement of official discussions. However, these discussions ceased, and there was no further communication until the decision not to renew his contract was relayed to Dijak.

Several individuals were shocked that WWE had not negotiated with Dijak. One former WWE talent remarked that, two decades ago, Dijak “would have had a job till his legs fell off.”
