WWE could hold a pay-per-view event in Japan in the not-too-distant future if the efforts of some within the promotion prove to be successful.

On the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio on SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon, it was stated that there’s a “big push” for a PPV in the country.

WWE is home to several stars from Japan, including Asuka, Kairi Sane, Shinsuke Nakamura, IYO SKY, and Akira Tozawa.

In recent years, WWE has become more open to hosting pay-per-views outside of North America with shows in the UK, France, Germany, and Australia.

It has been reported that WWE will host its Elimination Chamber PPV in March 2025 in either Birmingham, England, or Manchester, England.

WWE hosted its first tour of Japan in five years this past July.
