WWE fans should not expect Brock Lesnar to return anytime soon.
Lesnar was mentioned on RAW last week, sparking rumors about his potential return. It was speculated that WWE and Lesnar were discussing his return.
However, there are no plans for The Beast’s return to WWE.
One source noted that no creative plans are in development, and if talks have taken place, they have not been informed about them. The source further mentioned that no creative pitches for Lesnar have been made in months.
As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, Lesnar was removed from WWE’s plans earlier this year, which included matches at the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 40, due to the sex trafficking lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against John Laurinaitis, Vince McMahon, and WWE.
The lawsuit didn’t mention Lesnar by name but referred to him as a former WWE/UFC Heavyweight Champion. Lesnar was later identified as that champion. He remains listed on the WWE.com talent roster.
Pwinsider is reporting that there have been no discussions between WWE and Lesnar. The Beast remains off the radar, and any references to him during promos or commentary are merely to enhance the ongoing storylines.
Lesnar’s WWE return will not happen unless both parties reach an agreement. Federal authorities are investigating Grant’s lawsuit, and the case has been postponed until December. Furthermore, WWE’s legal team has yet to clear Lesnar, and he won’t be able to return until this happens.
