As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, CM Punk is trying to restructure his WWE deal after returning to the company in November 2023.
Punk, who is currently signed to a 3-year contract with WWE, has been approached by the company for a “bigger” deal.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that there are ongoing negotiations between Punk and WWE for a more comprehensive contractual agreement. The original deal was finalized relatively quickly over the span of a few days.
The report states, “This was expected to happen from the start and not something like he’s trying to renegotiate now that he’s in a hot program. It was something always expected to happen if things went well at this time.”
Punk’s original 3-year contract will keep him with WWE until November 2026, barring any extensions for injury absences.
