Since May 2023, Omos has been minimally featured on WWE programming. His most recent appearance was at the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown before WrestleMania 40 in April. The Nigerian Giant used to appear regularly at WWE live events.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE arranged these non-televised live event matches to provide Omos with additional in-ring experience, as the company “hadn’t fully decided to give up on him.”
However, Omos has not been included in any WWE live events since then, leading to speculation that WWE has given up on him.
Meanwhile, Omos has shifted his focus to other ventures, such as launching a YouTube channel with his inaugural video featuring the “Top 10 Summer Fragrances 2024.”
Additionally, sources indicate that WWE positions Omos as an attraction, which contradicts the notion that they have given up on him.
It remains to be seen if Omos will return to WWE TV in the future.
