More has come to light about Jesse Ventura and Hulk Hogan being a part of this week’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event special on NBC.
On today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked if Ventura was still scheduled for the show that is expected to feature Hulk Hogan. He said,
“He was told he’s on all the shows in 2025. So if he’s off it’s a detail within the last week and a half. They didn’t push him, but he was told he’s on every show. It was definitely pointed out to me that him and Hogan are going to be on the same show.”
Hogan and Ventura have been at odds for decades after Hogan got Jesse fired from WWE by telling Vince McMahon that Jesse was talking about unionizing.
Though Hogan has often denied tattling to McMahon, he admitted to doing just that during Netflix’s Mr. McMahon docuseries.
Ventura was warmly welcomed at last month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, in stark contrast to the reception Hogan received earlier this month.
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place on January 25. Matches announced include Jey Uso vs. GUNTHER and Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax.
