WWE has big plans in store for Roman Reigns at next February’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event that will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana.
According to WrestleVotes, who reported on a Backstage Pass Live Q&A, WWE sources have indicated that Reigns will be in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
If so, this will mark Reigns’ first time competing in the 30-man match since 2020 as he would capture the Universal title later that year.
Reigns is a five-time entry in the Royal Rumble match and won the bout in 2015. He has been the runner-up on three different occasions.
The 2025 WWE Royal Rumble will take place from Lucas Oil Stadium and will serve as the first show as part of a massive deal with Indianapolis.
This deal will also see WWE host a two-night SummerSlam and a two-night WrestleMania though those shows are yet to be announced.
