Randy Orton has reportedly signed a new contract with WWE.
Fightful Select is reporting that Orton signed a five-year deal back in 2019, which would have kept him under contract until the end of this year.
The internal word is that The Viper has now secured a new deal, which is said to be for five years and will keep him with the company until late 2029.
When a top WWE executive was asked why Orton was offered a new contract instead of extending his current one, it was stated, “I can’t confirm that he signed a new deal, but the guaranteed money in contracts has changed significantly since 2019. There have been updates to our live event schedules, touring, international dates, media commitments, merchandise, and social media that make it more reasonable to negotiate a new deal in many cases.”
