Braun Strowman has been released from WWE for the second time within four years, and now more has come to light about this latest departure.
Strowman was among those cut this week, alongside Shayna Baszler, Dakota Kai, Cora Jade, and others from WWE’s main roster and NXT.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, it was shared that Strowman’s salary was high and the feeling was that he was being paid more than what he was being used for.
Strowman was previously released by WWE in 2021 but was re-signed in September 2022 after Triple H took over the company’s creative direction.
Braun’s final match came on the April 18th episode of WWE SmackDown, where he and LA Knight defeated Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa.
As a wrestler released from the main roster, Strowman will have to wait 90 days before he works for another wrestling promotion.
