On the September 9th episode of Monday Night RAW, WWE began announcing matches for the upcoming Bad Blood 2024 pay-per-view event, scheduled for Saturday, October 5, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA.

The event will be headlined by CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a Hell In A Cell match.

There are also speculations that Sami Zayn will challenge GUNTHER for the WWE World Heavyweight Title, though this has yet to be announced.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that Bron Breakker’s Intercontinental Title defense against Jey Uso was not scheduled for WWE Bad Blood 2024 after Uso emerged as the new #1 contender. He said,

“That match is not on the pay-per-view. It’s gonna be a TV match. I don’t know which week…but not on the pay-per-view. You only have five match pay-per-views.”

Jey defeated Ilja Dragunov, Pete Dunne, and Braun Strowman to earn a title shot against Breakker on last night’s episode of WWE RAW.
