WWE is close to signing a high-profile group of free agents and is considering having their debut on the upcoming NXT premiere episode on The CW Network.
WWE NXT is scheduled to visit the Allstate Arena in Chicago on Tuesday, October 1, for the premiere episode. The show will feature a stacked lineup of matches, including CM Punk.
As we previously reported here on eWn, the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) were expected to join WWE. However, there have been no updates on their status since then.
PW Nexus is reporting that the Motor City Machine Guns are likely headed to NXT. It was also mentioned that the decorated tag team could debut as early as The CW Network premiere.
