WWE has reportedly moved away from rebranding The Judgment Day as ‘Street Trash’ after fans showed that they were against the name change.
Earlier this week, it was reported that WWE was working on making tweaks to the group following the exit of Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley.
It was noted that the group’s essence will stay the same, but a name change was likely with the leading name suggested being ‘Street Trash.’
In an update, WrestleVotes adds that The Judgment Day name will remain, though the slogan ‘Street Trash’ will be incorporated in the group’s gimmick.
The ‘Street Trash’ name idea came directly from Finn Balor, with merchandising concepts already completed and approved for the faction.
The term comes from GUNTHER referring to Damian Priest as street trash during their feud, despite Priest now no longer being a member of the group.
The Judgment Day currently consists of World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor & JD McDonagh, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, and Carlito.
