WWE has signed independent wrestler Patrick Scott for a writer’s assistant role on SmackDown. Scott is expected to begin his role with the company this week.
Scott took to Twitter on Sunday to seemingly confirm the news, writing,

Scott trained to become a professional wrestler at the Carolina Wrestling Academy in 2016.
