In 2024, WWE has organized more international pay-per-view events than ever, with shows taking place in Canada, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Wales, France, Australia, and Puerto Rico. Additionally, the company is scheduled to host the Bash In Berlin pay-per-view event in Germany later this month.

WWE’s strategic decision to host pay-per-view events internationally is driven by the high site fees countries are willing to pay. This practice is separate from international venues, as cities in the US also engage in competitive bidding to secure the rights to host WWE events, thereby stimulating significant local economic growth.

WWE recently returned to Italy for a live event in Bologna, marking the first WWE event in Italy since 2018. The company previously conducted a tour in Italy featuring RAW, SmackDown, and ECW episodes in Milan. This tour marked the debut of Santino Marella.

@hashtagPWN is reporting that WWE plans to host a pay-per-view event in Italy next year. Should this occur, it would mark the first-ever pay-per-view event that WWE has held in Italy.
