Rikishi says he’d like The Usos to work some singles programs.
During a recent edition of his “Off the Top” podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer expressed his desire to see his sons work with Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio in singles programs. He said,
“Just by watching the roster to me, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio are some of the OGs that always pops up into my mind when it comes to working with my boys. It’s because there’s so much that they can take away and learn from that.”
He continued, “These are the two champions, you know a Hall of Famer and another one soon to be in the Hall of Fame… even though they’ve been there for 17 years and I’m talking about my sons but you can still learn from these type of OGs. I would just love to see that you know magic, memory type of match you know, one of my boys versus each of one of those cats.”
Tommy Dreamer says he would have liked to see WWE wait a bit to reunite The Usos as part of The Bloodline storyline.
During a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio After Dark” podcast, the ECW legend commented on The Usos’ segment with Sami Zayn on RAW.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On the RAW segment: “[Sami Zayn] gets interrupted by Jey and everyone is yeeting. The crowd is so into it and he just says, ‘Hey, man, listen, as a friend, did you do it on purpose? Did you kick Roman [Reigns] on purpose [at WWE Crown Jewel]?’ And then here comes Jimmy. This was an interesting dynamic that they’ve done this.”
On what he would have liked to see differently: “I personally feel that they united The Usos too soon. I wish I would have seen this drawn out more, but we’re here. And it’s not my job to say, ‘Well, my idea is better.’ I just personally would have liked to see it because I felt there was more drama to it. But we’re here and that’s probably because of Crown Jewel why we’re going to be here.”
