In a world where social media runs our daily lives and people are absolutely obsessed over gaining new followers, fans are equally fixated on following their favorite celebrities and trying to scoop out some gossip.

Pro wrestling is not immune to that whatsoever, and there are instances where news breaks by someone noticing who is following (or in this case, unfollowing) others. Be it a couple splitting by taking down their pictures of one another or a company starting to follow a wrestler before talks of them signing, where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire.

And now, people have noticed that Roman Reigns has unfollowed Solo Sikoa on Instagram. Que the dramatic music:

Many outlets have been reporting this, saying they’ve noticed this recent change. Yours truly won’t pretend to be the one to break this news. Shout out to whoever first called attention to this. Here’s just one of the better graphics illustrating it:

Obviously, this could mean all sorts of things. For all we know, Roman’s finger slipped. Maybe they’re in a legitimate argument behind the scenes. But much more likely, this is WWE’s social media team having some fun and planting some seeds for a future feud between the two.

Since WrestleMania XL, Reigns has been completely absent on screen. He hasn’t even talked to Paul Heyman. Solo Sikoa stepped up and has taken control over The Bloodline as its interim Tribal Chief, recruiting new members to the faction and causing a lot of headaches.

After attacking Cody Rhodes at WWE Clash at the Castle in Scotland, we can assume Sikoa and his version of The Bloodline are going to be thrust into the title picture. A WWE Championship match could be in store for Money in the Bank, with Sikoa against Rhodes.

With SummerSlam right around the corner after MITB, there’s a very good chance we see Reigns return to action within the next month or so. He could target Rhodes for a rematch at SummerSlam. WWE could stretch this out a bit and do a six-man tag (Rhodes, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens against Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa) at MITB, before doing Sikoa against Rhodes at SummerSlam, wherein Reigns could return. Or, now that we can speculate on this, maybe Reigns is going to make his return by going after Sikoa, rather than The American Nightmare.
